I just found out that Michael passed away in April and am shocked and so deeply saddened. I was his girlfriend in the late 60’s and always found him to be a kind, funny and caring boyfriend who was also a wonderful musician! In recent years, we kept in touch with occasional emails. What I find so disturbing is that less than two months before his death, on February 5, I received a lovely email from him. In that note he told me how happy he was living in Florida, playing his music and swimming at his condo for exercise. He even mentioned that he was excited about starting Social Security at the end of the month. I will miss those periodic emails in the future, but will keep Michael in my prayers.
If anyone knows the cause of Michael’s death, please pass this information along.
I was deeply saddened to read that Bryan recently passed away. In Lewis, Bryan was a bright student, a very nice boy, and a talented drummer. My husband (a '68 Lewis grad) and I remember watching Bryan playing his drums at a high school battle of the bands. Bryan was always a good talker, so I was not surprised to see that he became an attorney. I hope he lived a happy life. I extend my condolences to his family and friends! Rest in peace!

Thanks, Gary, for your nice words. My husband, Bob, a '68 Lewis grad wanted to say hi. He was co-captain of the Lewis baseball team in '67 and '68 and he remembers that you were a good pitcher during the '68 season.
Best Regards,
June
